GY ENDGAME
THE END IS NEAR.

♫
You wake on Sunday.
Thunder is roaring in the background now with frequent lightning strikes. The rain pours heavily down onto the resort, which is starting to look worse for wear. And yet, the spirits come in irregular bursts.
Sunday, as promised, is also Hild's execution. While you normally don't get to view those, the movie theater seems to be on again at exactly 9:00AM,, a few hours later, just like yesterday. And sure enough, you get a good view of everything: Hild, the Manager, and the rest behind them. And they are all at a site that executions normally aren't at, for those who've seen them.
They're near a well -- the one that Lucas and Zena have talked about before.
The spirits that were plaguing you earlier were around in larger quantities earlier this morning, nuisances to be shoved aside in your pursuit of figuring things out with the shard. Wherever it is, it seems to continue its pulsing, almost like a siren's call to the desperate ones that seem to be vying after it.
But now, they're starting to appear less and less. A sign that something's going to happen soon. For a few moments, you get to spectate what's going on in the living.

EXECUTION SPECTATING

... This isn't the beach for the usual execution.
[ She also thought executions weren't visible to the people here, but she wonders if it's because it's the last one. }

[ Watching the execution play out is one method of preparation. ]
After all... previous Guests are no longer around, and there must be a reason why.

[ He looks extremely unsettled! ]
I see she has deigned to take matters into her own hands from the start.

[ If they were still out there in higher numbers, she'd still be outside, throwing them. ]
... I wonder if Miss Hild being a demon ruler somehow has to do with it.

[ He's actually very invested in this execution--not that he wouldn't be otherwise--but he sure wants to see Hild take on the Manager.
Ramuda and Dice are here, too, and for once, they aren't honking obnoxiously. ]
I wonder how this will play out.

I also wonder... how much resistance Miss Hild could put up against he Manager. It seems she has no intention to die. After all, the half number has already been established, and she made a contract with Miss Remilia...

It sounds like it's coming from the floor below you. Floor Four. ]

... I suppose we should investigate.
[ Actually, that's very concerning, and Gentaro's already headed there with geese in tow. ]

[ Iria doesn't waste time and follows Gentaro. She has a small bag of salt with her just in case if this is like... a bunch of spirits attacking at once. ]
I wonder who the scream belongs to...

He's going to look inside because, uh, what the fuck. ]

Ah... Is there a problem?

The shrieking is in a lower register, lower than SWEETHEART's, thankfully -- and it's coming from some sort of entity that's wearing the face of a stranger. But for anyone who's visited SWEETHEART's room, they'll recognize this face as CAPT. SPACEBOY. The creature is wearing his face like a mask and the rest of it is a pitch black body; something that's pretty ghost-like in nature, though it has hands that are placed on its head. The face itself has a crack going down the middle.
(CAPT. SPACEBOY'S portrait, which was once hanging there, is now gone.)
The face flickers back and forth between his -- and then Kaeya's, Diluc's, Kuroi's, like it can't decide what it wants to be. It's howling in...frustration, perhaps?
But you do see a flicker of a weirder face at the end of it before it finally settles on being Kaeya. It seems like it's wrapped up in its own troubles, but it is notably pretty large. ]

What the fuck.
While Gentaro is attempting to process this, his geese start honking aggressively and flapping their wings threateningly at the thing. ]
