(mini round) ic rulebook
IC RULEBOOK
Take your time to browse through the document you have just received! On first glance, the brochure looks like anything like your regular tourist attraction brochure - there are maps and brief descriptions of the hotel's facilities and the surrounding areas, although any information about the hotel's history itself seems to be strangely omitted from the document. The more you read its contents, however, the more you will realise that the general house rules for your stay seem to be a little bit... strange?
Oddly enough, while the information sections seem to be professionally printed, these rules seem to have to be handwritten, with different handwriting for each line. Some of these handwriting look vaguely familiar - could it be yours?

House Rules
- Please be courteous to all residents, including the ones that you may not be able to perceive.
- To prevent any mishaps by fire, there should be a limit of three people in hotel guest rooms at all times. We would prefer if there were no fire hazards in the hotel.
- Injuring or killing staff members are strictly prohibited. They are not here for your entertainment.
- You will only receive one room key. Do not lose it.
- Please refrain from damaging any property in the hotel. They have feelings too and are prone to vengeance.
- Curfew is subject to the whims and fancy of the hotel. We seek your understanding.
- Please be responsible for your own personal belongings. The hotel takes no responsibility for theft between participants, which should be a personal matter.
- To keep the hotel functioning, at least one (1) death must occur between Thursday night and Friday morning. Participation in the game is mandatory.
- Guests may enlist the assistance of other residents to commit a murder, but only the one to deliver the killing blow will be considered the culprit. All others will be considered accomplices.
- Please do not cause your own death.
- The cleaning staff of the hotel take their weekly mandated break on Thursday nights and will return to work on Friday afternoon.
- Following a murder, guests will be allowed a minimum of four (4) hours on Friday morning to conduct a thorough investigation.
- A trial will be hosted in the Ballroom on Level 2 at noon on Fridays, and attendance is mandatory. Hotel staff have been instructed to bring guests there at the appointed time by any means necessary.
- The hotel cannot be held responsible for any evidence destroyed or tampered with during investigation. We recommend that any physical evidence of note be turned in to the staff for safekeeping.
- Guests must cast their vote to determine who the culprit behind the murder is - failure to find the culprit will result in everyone else's death except the culprits.
- Protest votes or voting for yourself are frowned upon and may be dealt with as necessary if deemed problematic behaviour.
- It is up to the surviving guests to determine who will carry out the execution once a guilty party has been confirmed.
- The executioner is required to dispose of the guilty party on Sundays. Failure to comply will result in Consequences.
- Your stay at T̵͎͌h̴̦̿e̷̎̀ ̷̹̇S̴͋̋■ ̷̿̃D̷͙̋r̷̞͋■o̴͚͒n̸̙͘ ■ȯ̴̠r̸̀̽t̸̹̚ will end when the number of guests that remain number less than half.
- Some secrets are meant to be kept.
There is one final blank page on each brochure. Seems like a strange waste of space, isn't it?
