ROLE: THE SEER
You wake up. It is Thursday night, about an hour after curfew. You don't remember falling asleep here - in fact, you definitely were somewhere completely different before this. It doesn't matter, because the Manager is behind her desk in the President's Suite, her expression impassive as ever, although she nods in satisfaction when you come to your senses and notice her.
"You're awake, Seer. Act fast, you are running out of time."

When you return from your midnight explorations, it will be at least an hour before curfew ends (before 6AM, Friday morning). The Manager will be waiting and will also be available to answer any questions you may have. Once the clock strikes 8AM Friday, you will find yourself back where you fell asleep on Thursday night, back in your body.
You have learned something, Seer. It's up to you whether you want to share it with people you know.
The blank page of your personal rulebook will also contain an IC copy of the rules and guidelines set out below, which will only be visible from Thursday night to Sunday morning. Come Sunday afternoon, after executions, the third page will revert to being completely blank.

Reigen, you have been selected as this week’s Seer! The Seer is a role that rotates weekly among people in the group, and is meant to be an investigative role that will help you and your fellow guests solve the weekly murder(s) taking place in the hotel.

We hope you enjoy your role! Please also feel free to use this post for any communication with the Manager - please bear in mind that you will only be able to access them, IC-ly, between curfew on Thursday and 6AM Friday morning, excluding the time taken for your investigation.
To summarise key aspects of your role:
1. The Seer’s powers manifest as an astral projection that is active only on Thursday nights after curfew. While the Seer’s physical body remains where they fell asleep when curfew strikes, you will start from the President's Suite on the 6th floor and be allowed free roam of the hotel during this time, but will not be able to affect the scene of the crime or to mess with any evidence. You will be able to verify who was where at curfew and maybe run into a murderer or two if you’re lucky.
2. The Seer will be able to investigate up to four locations on Thursdays. The mods will confirm weekly how many locations you will be able to investigate (with the idea that if curfew is later, you may only be able to investigate less locations). Choose wisely, you only have a limited time to investigate before the astral projection wears off!
3. Location selections are due 6PM EST/3PM PST Thursday. Please post as a reply to the top comment, in chronological order, which areas you would like to investigate. This includes sub-areas - for example, the pool and the poolside bar would count as two separate locations for the purposes of this role. Please include times in your locations as well (e.g. IKEA floor, 12am to 3am).
4. Once locations have been selected and the mods have wrangled all ducks in order for the week, the mods will let you know the following:5. Given that there are no private conversations for this round, we would advise that you be cautious if you want to divulge your role to anyone else and recommend that you try and keep your role both an IC and OOC secret for as long as it is feasible! If a situation arises that you would need to tell someone of your role, please give the mod team a heads up so that we can factor this into our plans for the game.

- If there is anything else that can be found at a glance at the current time. Mods will also prompt you if you are able to investigate further, but please note that this does not substitute for a full on investigation due to not being able to interact physically with things (i.e. if you spot a bloody knife, you can only note where it is placed, but you cannot touch or move it to check any details of the knife).
- If you happen to select the correct place and happen to witness a murder, congratulations! You will only see shadowy-illusion like figures perpetuating part of a series of events. You will not be able to see their identities or listen to their conversations. Likewise, the murderer(s) and victim(s) will be unaware of your presence during this time.
