MURDER PROPOSALS
Part of the fun of playing in a murder game is getting a chance to do a murder, and we strongly encourage players to be creative so as to spice up trials and to make things more fun for everyone! Can’t have a murder game without a murder, after all.
However, we ask that players who are interested in doing a murder submit a proposal first just so that we can keep things organised and determine whether a murder can take place during any given week or not. Please note that given the short run time of this mini-round, we may not be able to accommodate your proposal for murder.
Don’t worry about submitting a perfect proposal - we just need to have a rough idea so we can give you the yay or nay, and help you iron out the details together with your approved victim, who can add their own touches to the murder!
Murder proposals should be submitted by Monday, 12pm EST for the given week to be considered, although we are definitely okay with you submitting a proposal for a Week 3 murder in Week 1. Go ahead and live your best life.

MURDER PROPOSAL FORM
Character name: Who you’re playing
Plurk: All case discussions will be done via private plurks!
Time: Which week are you planning your murder for? If you’re flexible, let us know.
Incentive/Motive: We’re doing something a little bit different and trying to combine traditional murdergame motives with murder proposals! Does your character need an incentive to murder? What would drive them to murder? We’re happy to help craft one for you if your character needs a little extra push to get stabby - either a carrot or a stick works!
Your incentive doesn’t need to be very detailed - examples include destroying a place characters may be fond of, exposing everyone's deepest darkest secrets, or guaranteeing the safety of a loved one. Otherwise, if they wouldn’t really care about such things and would just like to knife someone really hard because they’re bloodthirsty af, let us know here too so we can take it into account while planning cases for the week. We are also likely to group proposals with similar motives to happen in the same week.
Suggested Target(s): Please suggest up to three potential victims in order of preference. If you’re planning on doing a double murder, please let us know here too.
Murder Plot: It doesn’t have to be super polished, but we’d like to know how your character is planning to murder and whether any accomplices will be involved. Even something as simple as "they're going to knife them really hard???" would work, just so we have an idea of how viable your character’s plan is and whether it can be done during the current week, and whether there would be resources enough for the murder to take place. For instance, if someone decides to steal all the knives from the kitchen, then we can’t approve a murder using kitchen knives :( If you have something detailed we won't stop you, but we are also happy to work with you to craft the murder of your dreams!
Evidence/Clues: Again, like above, this doesn’t need to be super polished at this point, but no crime is perfect and while it shouldn’t be extremely obvious that your character is the perpetrator, it should still be possible for players to solve the mystery with some logic and critical thinking skills. Some suggestions we have for inclusion: any injuries inflicted by the victim on the killer (e.g. scratches, bruises), items/weapons left behind at the scene of the crime or faulty alibis.
Anything else?: Lay it on us here so we can take it into account for case planning or address it when we reach out to you!
