(mini round) GRAVEYARD

GRAVEYARD
Well, that happened.

On the bright side, however, by some miracle, you feel yourself start to come to your senses. It's a process, and everything happens slowly -- first your sight, then your hearing, touch, taste, smell. You feel...whole again, but perhaps not in the way you were just moments before you died. You are awake. You are sentient.

You are here.

And here happens to be the resort. It appears to be how it normally is during the daytime, free of any spooky elements, and you are free to explore and go about business as usual. You'll notice that you wake up in the exact same spot where you died, too -- unless it was outside of the hotel. If it was, you'll wake up in a random location in it. And as alone as you may feel at this moment, you sure aren't the only one here.

Feel free to seek out (or avoid) any of your other fallen comrades. You'll notice that none of the living are here, though; only you and whoever's joined you on the other side. Maybe the lot of you will discover that not everything about this place is as it seems...

OOC
Hello, everyone! This is Coco, and welcome to the graveyard! As promised, even though your characters are gone, you still have things to do while you're here! We'll be trying out some mechanics so if you have any suggestions on how to improve them along the way, please let me know.

Locations will largely be the same. Currently there are no differences between the land of the living and deadland other than nighttime effects being null here.
Special Mechanic
We will be trying a mechanic called hauntings. This is completely optional. How they work right now is a mystery, but here's what I need from anyone who wants to participate:

  1. Every week, I will be putting up a blank top level labeled "Weekly Schedule". In a reply to the top level, I will be asking for a Monday thru Thursday schedule for each person who volunteers. I will adjust the number of days throughout the week that you can list per weekly submission.
  2. The schedule does not have to be detailed whatsoever! All I need is where they are location-wise and what they're doing there. The number of actions and locations per day, per person will vary each week. For example, Week 1 has two days with two actions max:
Monday: Making curry in the kitchen during the day, browsing in the gift shop in the afternoon
Tuesday: Reading a book in the reading area at night
  3. You are not required to thread anything out! These can be handwaved.
  4. Schedule submissions will be due every Monday by 6:00PM EST, but if you submit earlier, I can play around with your submission earlier, too!
  5. Not every event in your schedule is guaranteed. I will be picking as many as I can without things being overwhelming. You'll see what I mean!
